Women’s Work

I have always believed that a woman’s work should be measured in her manifesto. One thousand pounds of ex-lovers, salty ringlets of tear soaked kerchiefs and yearned sweat poured to the earth for our faith. For the nurturer within us, for the warrior that has become of us, for the millions of miles ahead, for our grandmothers that lay already dead… We finally see.
